Welcome to Craftastic Decor!
My name is Michelle, and with my friends Sarissa and Mollie we are the driving force and creative minds behind Craftastic Decor!
Each of us will be creating a post telling just a little bit about ourselves and since I got here first, I guess I'm up ;)
So, who am I? I am Mom and Wife, friend and lover, teacher and mentor, cook and maid, quilter and designer, shop owner and fabric hoarder, thrift store junkie and a yardsaling diva, and I have some serious OCD (Obsessive Crafting Disorder)!
My sweetie and I have been married for 18.5 yrs and we have 3 boys who act just like hi-err..us.
I recently started homeschooling our 2 youngest and am finding it very rewarding, and the boys are so much happier learning at their own pace with no pressure or bullying.
I'm also the designer behind Shee Designs, and while I still sell some of my creations, I've branched off into a new direction by combining my love of fabric with my shopaholic tendancies to operate an online quilt shop. Eventually, one of these day I hope to give The big chains a run for their money, but that's a lot of hard work away!
My favorite hobbies include, reading, sewing, quilting, needlework, furniture refinishing, and general crafting. I plan to relearn how to crochet and knit in the near future, right after I buy a few more hours for my day!
So, that's me in a nutshell..And I can't wait to get to know you all better!
